On 16-17 January, Caritas Europa organized the first Institutional Advocacy Forum in Bratislava, Slovakia.
The Forum gathered members from the newly formed Institutional Advocacy Action Group and its Reference Network for a first exchange of practices. Advocacy experts from 15 European Caritas organizations participated to discuss how Caritas does advocacy in different countries and how Caritas positions itself in relation to state authorities.

On 14 December, a round table- discussion on return and reintegration related issues was initiated by State Migration Service of the RA and Armenian Caritas Benevolent NGO. The goal of the meeting was the presentation of new developments in the field migration, return and reintegration and enforcement of the cooperation and coordination between actors of the field.

“Armenian Caritas” was founded in 1995 by the Armenian Catholic Church with the extensive support from the Catholic Relief Services.

In the scope of “Home Care” Vanadzor project on November 25 a reporting event “Grant a Smile” took place. The goal of a month-long action (October 1 through 31) was to consolidate the public, particularly individuals, professional teams, stakeholders around the solution of the older people problems. Goal: The goal of the project is providing improved nutrition for the pre-school children of two kindergartens (Gyumri kindergartens #5 “Smile” and #11 “Liana”) and two kindergartens in Sepasar and Ghazanchi villages.
Description:The project being implemented in two kindergartens in Gyumri and in two kindergartens in Sepasar and Ghazanchi villages contributes to the protection of 270 children right for good quality food by monitoring food provision,

The experience of “Armenian Caritas” in this sector shows that although officially people can access primary healthcare services funded by the state, still the essential health care needs remain unmet and a big group of vulnerable people, including children and the elderly, get deprived of elementary medical services. In its PHC center Caritas serves around 3000 persons in 4500 visits per year. The clinic holds a license of the RA Ministry of Health (RA MH) that authorizes it to provide the following PHC services.
