Inclusive and equitable quality education for all

Project location: Armenia: Shirak region: Provincial center Gyumri and 3 rural communities

Beneficiaries/target groups:

• 4 schools in Gyumri, 3 schools in rural communities
  • 14 representatives of school administration, 22 pedagogues
  • 23 parents’ representatives at the schools
• 4 kindergarten in Gyumri, 3 kindergarten in rural communities
  • 7 kindergarten directors, 35 kindergarten educators
• 2 territorial pedagogical-psychological evaluation and support centers in Gyumri and Artik
• Armenian Caritas ʺLittle Prince Centerʺ in Gyumri: 90 children among them 10 CWD, 17 staff members
• 100 multipliers, 20 peer to peer educators

Goal:
To contribute to the establishment of inclusive and equitable quality education for All in Armenia.

Objectives:

• School Parents and their representatives are empowered to enforce and support inclusive education
• Inclusive education support structures (inclusive day care centers, support/ resource centers and SNA) exist and are enabled to meet the needs of cwds
• Society has positive attitude towards PWDs and inclusive education.
• Kindergarten and Schools are enabled to accept CWDs.
