Within the frameworks of the Armenian Caritas BNGO program “Improvement of educational and cultural conditions of the youth centers of Lanjik, Panik and Mets Sepasar” a youth center was opened in the village of Lanjik , Ani community of the Shirak region in 2022 November 22.

It should be noted that within the framework of the program, the youth centers of the above-mentioned villages were equipped with the necessary furniture and modern computers, printers, projectors.As a result of the program, young people from villages will have the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and opportunities in accordance with the current needs and requirements of the country, as well as participate in the process of community development.

The program “Improving the educational and cultural conditions of the youth centers of Lanjik, Panik and Mets Sepasar” was funded within the framework of the Polish Cooperation Development Program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.

“Today is a special day for the Lanjik community, because from now on there is such a center in the community that will contribute to the implementation of various programs. For three years we have had a youth union, with the efforts of which we have implemented many programs, but this center will contribute to the effectiveness of the work of this union,” said Father Narek Tadevosyan, the spiritual pastor of Lanjik, welcomed the guests and thanked Armenian Caritas for this and other works carried out in the community.

“Within the framework of Armenian Caritas program, within the framework of the Polish Development Cooperation development program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland,a program worth about 10 thousand euros, youth centers in three villages of the region were opened.This is an important step for the development and occupation of the youth of these communities,” Deputy Governor Karen Manukyan said on his own behalf and on behalf of the Governor of Shirak, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, welcoming Armenian Caritas and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.

“With the right tools, young people can develop their talents and abilities. A place of that kind is the Lanjik Youth Center, and many other Youth Centers, which are under the supervision of Caritas Armenia.  On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, I am honored to assist  in the implementation of this significant idea.I sincerely hope that the computers, projectors and printers – the purchase of which was financed within the “Polish Aid” program, will be helpful in this regard. Our aim is to widen the geographical borders for the implementation of the “Polish Aid” program in many cities of the Shirak province.am convinced that our partners from “Caritas” have already prepared appropriate projects for the next year,”said First Secretary of the Polish Embassy in Armenia Tomas Bujko.
