- Children, elderly people, people with disabilities, living in other family type small group homes in Armenia. (~250)
Location: Armenia
Goal: Contribute to effective, accountable and inclusive institutions in Armenia (SDG 16) through enhanced care systems for vulnerable populations.
Outcome: Improved institutional practices for Small Group Homes (SGH) in Armenia through development and piloting of accreditation standards and staff capacity building, thereby strengthening service delivery for the vulnerable target group.
Outputs:
Output 1 – National quality standards established: National accreditation standards and criteria for Small Group Homes (SGHs) were developed, piloted and validated, contributing to improved institutional accountability, quality care, equal access and participatory decision-making (SDG 16.3.; SDG 16.6.; SDG 16.7.)
Output 2 – Strong institutional capacities built: 25 specialists have enhanced their knowledge and skills functionality assessment tools and assessment mechanisms (SDG 16.6.)
Output 3 – Protected from all forms of violence and abuse: Children in vulnerable situations received safe and accountable rights-based alternative care (SDG Target 16.2.)
