Job Announcement
From the 24th to 30th of August 2014, on the shore of Lake Sevan, Armenian Caritas organized a summer camp for 62 members of the “Faith and Light Armenia” community. Nineteen participants were children and young people with disabilities. The rest of the participants were parents and community volunteers. The campers’ days were full of different activities, such as developmental and recreational games, cartoon watching and, singing and dancing performances; of course, there was swimming.
From the 24th to 30th of August 2014, on the shore of Lake Sevan, Armenian Caritas organized a summer camp for 62 members of the “Faith and Light Armenia” community.
Emergency Preparedness and Response
Through DRM “Armenian Caritas” will focus on 2 objectives: pre- and post- disaster interventions.
Pre-disaster activities: community public awareness and education on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Climate Change Adaptation (CCA), risks assessment, community based mitigation projects, etc.
Post-disaster: provision of humanitarian assistance to the victims of the disasters, as well as, further support to the victims at the rehabilitation stage.
