Once again, the “Armenian Caritas” employees and volunteers visited Hayrapetyans’ family to pass the aid sent every month by an anonymous benefactor living in Yerevan.
During this visit, as well as every month the elderly and sick spouses were cut off from their poignant reflection of everyday life, myriad troubles and pain again seeing and realizing that they are not alone, there are people who remember them and share their concerns to some extent.

The overall aim of the project is to promote development processes in rural communities of Amasia (Shirak Marz), Vardenis and Chambarak (Gegharkunik Marz) sub-regions by activation of important community actors potential. Armenian Caritas Benevolent NGO calls for applications for the position of ‘‘Aramazd:
On April 1-5, 2016 large-scale ceasefire violations took place along the Line of Contact in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone which caused need of humanitarian support to the population being affected. “Armenian Caritas” (AC) with the support of “Caritas Italiana” to reduce the harm of emergency responded to the humanitarian needs in Nagorno-Karabakh, delivering boxes of food commodities to the humanitarian aid coordination body in Stepanakert.
On April 1-5, 2016 large-scale ceasefire violations took place along the Line of Contact in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone which caused need of humanitarian support to the population being affected.
Armenian Caritas (AC) has launched a new phase of operations in the frame of fulfilling one of its 6 current strategic directions – Disaster Risk Management (DRM). A new 3-year strategy with its action plan has been developed for this purpose, with active facilitation and consultation of DRR expert Zaruhi Tonoyan “Oxfam/OxYGen” NGO.

…It was an ordinary apartment shared by an old couple for almost 26 years.
We visited them on a random winter day. The fields in Amasia were all under white cover and everything was so pure and so clear there. The sky also has changed to white or perhaps it was the whiteness of earth that made it so. The air in the village was so light and there was a surprising peace in that still and icy-fresh air.
Grandfather Arest and his old slim wife were waiting for us and as soon as we got in they greeted us as they would greet their lost relatives.
