A discussion-training on migration at Gyumri secondary school No.8

1On April 12, within the framework of “Building Local Capacities to Reduce Irregular Migration and Trafficking” Project a discussion-training on migration took place at Gyumri secondary school No.8 with the participation of schoolchildren and some of the “Armenian Caritas” implementing partners. The meeting aimed at raising awareness on the opportunities and challenges of migration among schoolchildren. A hot discussion between the schoolchildren and the trainer started. For more than 19 years, Armenian Caritas BNGO has been serving community members and society by creating positive social change. Funded by Caritas Austria both organizations established of Emili Aregak Center which provides services for people with disabilities living in Gyumri. The Center was set up in 2008 with a primary focus of developing children’s physical and mental abilities in order to improve their social and life skills and prepare them to lead independent lives.
