Goal: Goal of the project was to prevent the possible landslides in the community of Vahagni by constructing water removal system.

Activities: The village of Vahagni had been constructed in 19th century not taking into consideration vulnerability of the location.

Number of Beneficiaries: 82 households (374 persons)

Location: NKR: Martakert

Goal: IInternally displaced population and conflict-affected households in Nagorno-Karabakh are able to live in dignity in areas of displacement.

Activities: Based on the humanitarian needs assessment conducted in May, 2016 in NKR and Armenia, Catholic Relief Services (CRS) availed an emergency funding for “AC” to address immediate needs of households affected by the escalation of the conflict.

Needs Assessment of Displaced Population from Nagorno-Karabakh Republic

Project Duration: 01.05.2016-31.05.2016

Location: Stepanakert, Shushi, Vank (NKR)

Goal: The goal of the project was to identify gaps in the humanitarian crises in NK by collecting information on the location and needs of vulnerable, conflict-affected households and provided assistance by other players in the field.

Activities: During the escalations of hostilities in April 2016, several villages and towns of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic were heavily or partially damaged. The population from the communities of Talish,
