A discussion-training on migration at Gyumri secondary school No.8

1On April 12, within the framework of “Building Local Capacities to Reduce Irregular Migration and Trafficking” Project a discussion-training on migration took place at Gyumri secondary school No.8 with the participation of schoolchildren and some of the “Armenian Caritas” implementing partners. The meeting aimed at raising awareness on the opportunities and challenges of migration among schoolchildren. A hot discussion between the schoolchildren and the trainer started. One of the schoolchildren mentioned: “One of the widespread shortcomings of migration is the high risk of the spread of sexually transmitted diseases …

For more than 21 years, Armenian Caritas BNGO has been serving community members and society by creating positive social change. Funded by Caritas Austria both organizations established Emili Aregak Center which provides services for people with disabilities living in Gyumri.
Armenian Caritas BNGO has a long standing support from Caritas Austria/Diocese of Feldkirch in various fields of social and economic development. Since the beginning of this partnership both organisations have placed a particular focus on providing services for people with disabilities and promoting their inclusion in the Armenian society.
