Support to the Population Affected by War in NK

”Armenian Caritas” benevolant NGO continues implementing a number of projects, which aim to improve the living conditions of the families affected by Artsakh war. One of them is the ” Support to the Population Affected by War in Armenia” project.

Within the framework of this 3-month project, 204 families provided with food and hygiene packages, 200 families received non-food packages, 23 families displaced from Artsakh received rental support, as well as 20 families were provided with repairment materials to improve their housing conditions. Project beneficiaries were selected according to the certain criteria.

The project is implemented with financial support of Solidarity fund PL and BGK foundation.

The Caritas Europa delegation’s visit to Armenia

Caritas Europa President Msgr Michael Landau, CE ExBo member Alistair Dutton, and Humanitarian Officer CE Charel Krieps arrived in Yerevan on the 2nd of August as part of their trip to Armenia to learn more about Caritas operations in the country and how they are assisting displaced and another conflict-affected family.
As part of their arrival, they met with the Archbishop of Armenian Catholics of Armenia, Georgia, Russia, and Eastern Europe and the President of “Armenian Caritas” His Excellency Archbishop Raphael Minassian. Afterward, they met with the EU delegation in Armenia – Mr. Jan Plesinger, Deputy Head of Delegation,

Yard Camp

The “Little Prince” Children ‘s Social Center in Gyumri organized a yard camp on July 19-23 for 81 children, 61 of who were our beneficiaries, and 20 of whom were community children, 13 of whom had special needs, and disabilities. The camp was attended by children aged 10-14, and children aged 15-18, as well as volunteers, 21 people worked as detachment leaders and organizers. The camp was full of many sports, cultural, intellectual games, and puzzles.
