“Armenian Caritas” BNGO held a “Migration and trafficking: human exploitation” contest for all students of the Terlemezyan Fine Arts College. The aim of the contest was to raise awareness of population about the risks of migration and trafficking through sculptures, painting, design and other art works.
“Armenian Caritas” BNGO held a “Migration and trafficking: human exploitation” contest for all students of the Terlemezyan Fine Arts College. The aim of the contest was to raise awareness of population about the risks of migration and trafficking through sculptures, painting, design and other art works. Forty talented artists of Terlemezyan Fine Arts College took part in the competition presenting nearly 50 works.
The president of the committee was head of RA staff on anti-trafficking Vahram Kadjoyan. The committee members were Ovsanna Babayan from OSCE office, Tatevik Bedjanyan from the organization People in Need, Maritsa Hovhannisyan from the US embassy, Nune Asatryan from UNO, the project manager
Movses Hakobyan from Armenian Caritas, Terlemezyan Fine Arts College director Anna Arushanyan and artist Yelena Movsesyan.
The juries chose the best six works. After long discussions the competition winners were Arman Greyan /Graphics/, Andranik Sahakyan/Painting/, Narek Alekyan/Painting/, Suren Vardanyan/Painting/, Ephrem Hovhannisyan/Sculpture/ and Ani Ghaltaghyan/collage/. Each of winners was presented with 50000 AMD. The other participants got thank-you certificates for participation.
