The opening ceremony of the “Little Prince” Social Center for Children took place on March 22, in Vanadzor. The center was established within the project “Strengthening of children and their families in Vanadzor” . The project is run in cooperation with “Crossing Roads” social NGO, and is funded by Caritas Germany.
The opening ceremony of the “Little Prince” Social Center for Children took place on March 22, in Vanadzor. The center was established within the project “Strengthening of children and their families in Vanadzor” . The project is run in cooperation with “Crossing Roads” social NGO, and is funded by Caritas Germany.The opening ceremony was honored with presence of ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany , Hans-Jochen Schmidt, the Governor of Lori Region, Aram Kocharyan the City Mayor of Vanadzor, Samvel Darbinyan, as well as representatives of Armenian Apostolic and Catholic Churches, Vanadzor Municipality, different public organizations, schools, cultural Homes and Mass medias’.
Welcome speeches were given by the ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Armenia, the Governor of Lori Region, City Mayor of Vanadzor, Armenia Caritas BNGO executive director, Anahit Mkoyan, “Strengthening of children and their families in Vanadzor” project manager, Gurgen Balasanyan, and project coordinator in Vanadzor, Narine Ghazaryan.
The red ribbon of the opening was cut by Hans-Jochen Schmidt, Samvel Kharibyan and, the Executive Director of “Crossing Roads” SNGO, Kamo Yeganyan. Dancing performances were staged by dance ensembles of the Cultural home N1 in Vanadzor, “Gayanna” BNGO, and “Armenian Unity Cross” NGO.
