The basis of the powerful state is the educated generation. Stressing the importance and role of education, as well as the right of each child to get educated and be included in the society, Armenian Caritas with the support of its partners continues to support beneficiaries with educational needs.

This time also the willingness to support our beneficiary children was expressed by our partner Austrian Development Agency. Beneficiary children with disabilities and target kindergartens of the project ”My Right. Inclusive Education in Armenia and Kosovo” funded by Autrian Development Agency, got computers based on some predefined criteria.

In a situation of the state of emergency, when distance learining was the only option for education, many children with disabilities had difficulties while participating in classes or were left out of the educational process because of not having appropriate technical means. The new academic year also is full of challenges for children with disabilities. As many children, as well as their family members, are at higher risk of being infected, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport has decided that most children with disabilities and health problems should study remotely. However, the problems of many children for participating in distance learning is still unresolved.

By solving the educational problems of even one child we invest in the process of creating an educated generation and a powerful state.

We express our gratitude to Austrian Development Agency for this valuable contribution, for trusting us and supporting our work. We will keep on working and fighting for the right of each child, since we believe that no child in Armenia should be left out of education.
