Several months ago “Armenian Caritas” launched the development of “Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy”, which aims to create a risk-free environment and to ensure the protection of children in the organization’s centers and projects relating to children. Expert Mira Antonyan developed and finalized the document due to close work with “Armenian Caritas” staff, which was presented to stakeholders at the conference hall of Gyumri “Araks” hotel on 01 February. On 16-17 January, Caritas Europa organized the first Institutional Advocacy Forum in Bratislava, Slovakia. The Forum gathered members from the newly formed Institutional Advocacy Action Group and its Reference Network for a first exchange of practices. Advocacy experts from 15 European Caritas organizations participated to discuss how Caritas does advocacy in different countries and how Caritas positions itself in relation to state authorities.Caritas experts on advocacy from France, Romania, Germany and Armenia presented their institutional advocacy work… On 16-17 January, Caritas Europa organized the first Institutional Advocacy Forum in Bratislava, Slovakia.

On 14 December, a round table- discussion on return and reintegration related issues was initiated by State Migration Service of the RA and Armenian Caritas Benevolent NGO.
