Access to Education during Covid-19 Pandemic

Project Duration: February 1, 2021-May 1, 2021

Location: Yerevan/Gyumri

Beneficiaries : 15 seminarians studying at Holy Archangels Armenian Catholic United Seminary

Goal: The goal of the project is to contribute to quality education for the Armenian boys being prepared for the priesthood.

Description

 Objectives:

Objective 1: The seminarians have access to mainstream education.

Objective 2: The seminarians have received fundamental religious education.

Donors: CNEWA (Catholic Near East Welfare Association)

Budget:

Livelihood and Shelter support to Conflict-Affected Population in Armenia

Project Duration: 12 months, 01.04.2021-31.05.2022

Project implementation area: RoA, Shirak and Gegharkunik regions with future possible area extension

Direct beneficiaries:

  • Displaced families living in rented or eft houses/apartments,
  • Host families accommodating displaced households,
  • Conflict-affected families from the local community.

Number of beneficiaries: 600 households/3000 individuals.

Beneficiaries: Internally displaced people from Artsakh, wounded soldiers, hosting families from the local community, single mothers, families who have lost their primary breadwinner (deceased or injured), as a result of the conflict.

Location: Shirak region of RA

Goal: Improving livelihood situation, including securing minimal nutrition and housing standards of the population affected by Artsakh war 2020, including internally displaced persons.
