Target group: Voluntary returnees from Belgium

Location: Armenia

Goal։ Assist voluntary returnees from Belgium to get reintegrated in Armenia.

Objectives։

Provide social assistance such as;

  • House rent
  • Utility bills
  • Household items and furniture
  •  Construction materials
  • Clothing, food etc.

Migration and Development I II III

Migration and Development I II III

Project Duration: 01.03.2010- 28.02.2019

Number of Beneficiaries:

  1. Returnees from the EU: till now 484 persons, 218 families, till the end of 2019 will be accepted 70-80 RA citizens annually
  2. Young people from communities having high migration risks 565 potential migrants (retraining courses and job fairs’ participants)
  3. Awareness raising campaigns for population of high migration-risk communities and university students total 583 participants
  4. 60 returnees from EU, young entrepreneurs from communities having high migration risks and Syrian Armenians,

Food for Kindergarten

Food for children of Sepasar and Ghazanchi kindergartens

Launched: since 2010

Goal:

To contribute to the preschool education of Sepasar and Ghazanchi communities.

Objectives:

  • To ensure educational development for 50 preschool children living in Sepasar and Ghazanchi.
  • To ensure cultural development for 50 preschool children living in Sepasar and Ghazanchi.
  • To ensure social protection for 50 sepaschildren by providing them daily meal and organizing social events

The following activities will be implemented for the achievement of the above mentioned objectives:

Target group: pupils, teachers and community residents

Location: Shirak, Lori and Gegharkunik provinces

Goal: To raise awareness on migration and trafficking

Objectives:

  1. Organize training sessions and campaigns for Shirak, Lori and Gegharkunik provinces’ community residents and pupils or students on migration and human trafficking (human exploitation)
  2. Integrate the topic of migration into school curriculum
  3. Cooperate with stakeholders in state and non-governmental sector to raise awareness on the topics
