On the 25th of May, 2018, for the first time the “Little Prince” social center of Gyumri participated in the Presidential Award for “the best local organization of child care and protection” competition in Vanadzor. Children from different regions of Armenia participated in the competition by 12 groups with 10 participants in each of them.

The final competition took place at the sport center of Vanadzor. The aim of the competition was to make the physical culture and sport popular, as well as to raise the importance of physical culture and to organize health care and large-scale local activities among the child care and protection institutions in Armenia.

The competition was coordinated by the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of Armenia.

The teams of Shirak reagion had excellent performances at the competition. The first place was occupied by the “Child Social Care Center” of Gyumri, the second place- AC “Little Prince” social center of Gyumri, the third place- “Trchuniats tun” center of Gyumri. The “Little Prince” social center participating in this competition for the first time took the second place. The children showed wonderful results thanks to their efforts and hard work. All team members were awarded with certificates, medals and gifts. The team was given a cup. Occupying the second place, The “Little Prince” social center was also awarded with sport equipments of 350,000 AMD.
