Background
For more than 21 years, Armenian Caritas BNGO has been serving community members and society by creating positive social change. Funded by Caritas Austria both organizations established Emili Aregak Center which provides services for people with disabilities living in Gyumri.
Armenian Caritas BNGO has a long standing support from Caritas Austria/Diocese of Feldkirch in various fields of social and economic development. Since the beginning of this partnership both organisations have placed a particular focus on providing services for people with disabilities and promoting their inclusion in the Armenian society.
The Center was set up in 2008 with a primary focus of developing children’s physical and mental abilities in order to improve their social and life skills and prepare them to lead independent lives.
