Armenian – Georgian – Armenian interpretation

 

  1. 1. Background & Purpose of the Assignment

Within the framework of the Parents National Conference 2025, Armenian Caritas is seeking a professional interpreter based in Tbilisi, Georgia to provide Armenian–Georgian–Armenian interpretation during the full two-day conference for a group of 10 participants from Armenia.

Event details:

  • Title: Parents National Conference 2025
  • Location: Tbilisi, Georgia (exact venue will be communicated to the selected interpreter)
  • Dates & working hours:
    • Day 1: 13 December 2025, 11:00–19:00
    • Day 2: 14 December 2025, 10:00–17:00

The conference focuses on parent well-being, self-care, stress regulation, therapy and self-expression, and includes plenary sessions, keynotes and parallel workshops.

 

  1. 2. Scope of Work

The interpreter will provide on-site consecutive and/or whisper interpretation between Armenian and Georgian for a group of 10 participants from Armenia during all relevant sessions․

The detailed agenda will be shared in advance with the selected interpreter.

 

  1. 3. Required Profile

The eligible candidate should meet the following minimum criteria:

  • Residence: Based in Tbilisi, Georgia
  • Languages:
    • Excellent command of Armenian and Georgian (spoken and comprehension).
    • Knowledge of English and/or Russian is an asset.
  • Professional experience:
    • Proven experience in consecutive interpretation between Armenian and Georgian.
    • Previous work in conferences, trainings, workshops or social programmes is an asset.

 

  1. 4. Content of the Quotation

Interested interpreters are invited to submit a quotation including the following:

  1. Short cover letter, confirming availability for 13–14 December 2025 in Tbilisi and summarising relevant experience.
  2. CV (max. 3 pages), highlighting working languages and thematic experience.
  3. Financial offer, specifying: Daily fee for on-site interpretation (per full conference day);

 

  1. 5. Evaluation of Offers

The selection will be made based on a best value for money approach, considering:

  • Relevance and quality of professional experience;
  • Language proficiency and thematic familiarity;
  • Financial offer (most economically advantageous proposal among those meeting quality requirements).

Armenian Caritas reserves the right to request clarifications and not to award a contract if no suitable offer is identified.
