Location: Gyumri (Shirak Province)
Goal: vPeople in Gyumri, Shirak region have access to high-quality and affordable primary health care and psychological services.
Objectives:
- The Primary Health care and psychological service for vulnerable people in Gyumri, Shirak region, has been improved
- The services offered by the Primary Health Center in the field of prevention, education and psychological assistance, have been expanded.
Our target groups will be as follows:
- The vulnerable and disadvantaged people – 1300
The main criteria of beneficiary selection are the scores of vulnerability assessment (vulnerability certificate) done by the Social Welfare ministry.
- Pregnant women – 32
The project will target 4 groups over 8 months. Each group includes 8 women for 2 months (32 women). Each group will have 8 classes provided by the program. The courses are carried out jointly or individually in the form of consultations by the PHCC psychologist, the gynecologist and the general practitioner.
- People – displaced by war – 25
- Families where children have psychological problems – 20
