Goal: Տo contribute to the improved performance, accountability and risk management of the Organization.

Description:

  • In 2016 in the circle of “Caritas Development Fund” Project an external Institutional Assessment of the Organization has been carried out, based on which the 5-year Program Strategy for 2017-2021 has been developed.
  • To give a sustainable and effective solution to the management issues, raised by the staff, it was suggested to establish the 7th Strategic Direction of the Organization “Institutional Development”.
  • In January 2018 an external assessment on behalf of Caritas Internationalis has been realized, in the result of which several gaps have been identified. The current OD Plan has been developed to address these gaps.
  • The OD Plan has 4 Objectives, which are:

1․ To enhance the upper-level decision-making procedure through bringing clear and transparent mechanisms;

2, To contribute to promotion of AC visibility, advocacy and fundraising objectives through enhanced and improved communication strategy;

3, To improve the financial planning and management on the overall organizational level;

4, To contribute to the establishment of a proper Risk management practice;

 

Partners:  Caritas Europa, Caritas Belgium, Caritas Austria, CAFOD, CRS,  Caritas Spain, Secours Catholique,

Budget:  70.752 Euro, of which 52.552 Euro is the ODSS contribution, and 18.200 Euro is other constributions
