My Right. Inclusive Education in Armenia and Kosovo

Project Duration: 01.07.2019 – 30.06.2023 Location: Shirak Region Overall objective: Contribution to an inclusive and equitable quality education for all, in accordance with Sustainable Development Goal 4, Art 28 and Art 23 of the UN Convention on the Rights of Children, and Art 24 of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Project Description:   Project results Individual Support: 80 CWD (Children with disabilities) in Armenia and 70 CWD in Kosovo have received individual support to fully enjoy their right to education.

Project Duration: 36 months, July 2018 – June 2021 Final beneficiaries: 22.000 Syrian Armenian refugees and local host population Location: Yerevan Background: Overall objective: To contribute to the National Integration Policy that intends to guarantee a dignified life for Syrian Armenians in Armenia through full protection and integration. Improvement of Social Conditions of Single Mothers in Gyumri, Gavar, Vanadzor and Artashat. Project Duration: 2019.01.02 – 2019.09.08 Number of Beneficiaries: 120 beneficiaries Location: Gyumri, Vanadzor, Gavar and Artashat Background:  The amount of monthly income of the Armenians is considerably lower than the supposed sum to fully suffice them to organize their lives in a normal way.  At present single mothers in Armenia cannot afford themselves to fully meet their basic needs to organize their daily routines. In general, social-economic situation of single mothers in Armenia during the past 25 years has not changed;

“Promotion of Transparency and Civic Participation in Consolidated Community”

“Promotion of Transparency and Civic Participation in Community by Innovative Mechanisms” Project Duration: 12 months Location: 15 settlements of Sarapat consolidated community of Shirak province of the Republic of Armenia: Arpeni, Bashgyugh, Dzorashen, Goghovit, Hartashen, Hoghmik, Kaqavasar, Lernagyugh, Musayelyan, Pokr Sariar, Salut, Sarapat, Torosgyugh, Tsoghamarg, Vardaghbyur. Goal: The overall goal of the project is the promotion of participatory and transparent self-governing mechanisms in the consolidated community through the use of innovative technological solutions, as well as experimenting with innovative technologies to ensure wider participation of stakeholders in decision-making processes of consolidated communities.

Parish Social Ministries in Northern Armenia

Parish Social Ministries in Northern Armenia Project Duration: 01.04.2022 – 31.03.2023 Beneficiaries: The target groups of the project are parish leaders and volunteers in 12 villages of Shirak region. The final beneficiaries of the project are the 75% of the total population of the 12 villages. Location: Shirak Region-Panik, Lanjik, Arevik, Azatan, Mets Sepasar, Bavra, Ghazanchi, Sizavet and Saragyugh, Arpeni, Hovtun, Dzithankov villages   Goal:The goal of the project is to improve educational and socio-economic conditions in 12 Catholic villages in Northern Armenia by encouraging Catholic Social Teaching (CST) inspired behavior change in parish leaders in order to increase their capacity to promote Christian inspired volunteerism and to mobilize volunteers in their community to support self-determination and community development.
