A memorandum of cooperation was signed by Armenian Caritas and the Loris’ provincial commission

On the first of October there was a commission for people with disabilities which was held the Loris’ provincial administration in the conference hall which was directed by the governor of Lori A. Ghukhasian. The conference was dedicated to the International Day of the Elderly and to the ‘’Armenian Caritas’’ benevolent NGO organizations’ program ‘’Home Care for Elderly’’ in Vanadzor about 12 years of work activity. A memorandum of cooperation was signed by the director of Armenian Caritas organization G. Tarasian, and by the supervisor of people with disabilities as well the governor of the Loris’ provincial commission A.

Charity dinner for the benefit of children

On September 8, under the high auspices of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Italy Mr. Vincenzo Del Monaco and his wife Diane Del Monaco, a charity dinner was held. All proceeds being transferred to the Little Prince centers of Armenian Caritas to ensure continuity of the project. The Malkhas band performed at the dinner. In the evening there was also an auction, which featured balls provided by the Football Federation of Armenia and Italy and football shirts with the signature of the players. The auction proceeds were also transferred to Little Prince centers.

Under the patronage of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Italy Mr. Vincenzo Del Monaco and his wife Diane Del Monaco, “Armenian Caritas” and World Food Programme brought to life the dream of kids of “Emil’s Aregak Day Care Centre for Children with Multiple Disabilities” and “Little prince” day care centers. On September 4 in Armenian Football Federation Academy of Avan the beneficiary children of these centers met the footballers of Armenian national team: Varazdat Haroyan, Gevorg Ghazaryan and Kamo Hovhannisyan. The end of the “First Inclusive Bakery and Cafe in Gyumri” program was announced

The solemn closing ceremony of the program “First Inclusive Bakery and Cafe in Gyumri” co-financed by the European Union, “Caritas Austria” and the Austrian Development Fund took place on October 19 at “Hoktember” Cinema in Gyumri. Funded by the European Union, Austrian Development Cooperation and Caritas Austria, the “First Inclusive Bakery and Cafe in Gyumri” project implemented by Armenian Caritas encourages the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the labor market, based on their capacity building. Within the framework of the project, on September 14, 2018, Gyumri opened its doors to the unique “Aregak” inclusive bakery and cafe in the region to help identify the possibilities of young persons with disabilities,

“Creating Together” Two-day open-air Charity Fair Dedicated to the World Refugee Day Took Place in Yerevan

On June 22-23, “Creating Together” two-day open-air Charity Fair dedicated to the World Refugee Day took place on Northern Avenue of Yerevan. The Charity Fair was organised in the framework of the European Union funded “Recognise. Protect. Realise.” project jointly implemented by the Armenian Caritas, Caritas Austria and Caritas Lebanon. The Charity Fair was supported by the Yerevan Municipality. Around 50 Syrian-Armenian and local self-employed persons and social enterprises participated in the Fair and showcased their handicrafts and jewelry. “The aim of the Fair is to promote economic integration of Syrian Armenians and local population as well as facilitate mutual socio-cultural integration,”
