h1{ color:#000 !important } The project is funded by European Union 14.01.2019 1.     Background Armenian Caritas BNGO has a long standing support from Caritas Austria/Diocese of Feldkirch in various fields of social and economic development. Since the beginning of this partnership both organisations have placed a particular focus on providing services for people with disabilities and promoting their inclusion in the Armenian society. Funded by Caritas Austria both organizations established of Emili Aregak Center which provides services for people with disabilities living in Gyumri. The Center was set up in 2008 with a primary focus of developing children’s physical and mental abilities in order to improve their social and life skills and prepare them to lead independent lives.

Time frame: February 01, 2019 – May 31, 2019 Position: Expert in conducting a desk research on different models of “Inclusion Support Assistant” (ISA), the term, used for the previously adopted term “Special Needs Assistant” (SNA) for schoolaged children with disabilities and development of an ISA model, adapted to Armenian reality. The IRIS programme aims at improving social and economic resilience of Syrian Armenians and host population and strengthening institutional capacities for economic growth in Armenia. The action is coordinated by the AutRC.
