The “Little Prince” Children ‘s Social Center in Gyumri organized a yard camp on July 19-23 for 81 children, 61 of who were our beneficiaries, and 20 of whom were community children, 13 of whom had special needs, and disabilities. The camp was attended by children aged 10-14, and children aged 15-18, as well as volunteers, 21 people worked as detachment leaders and organizers. The camp was full of many sports, cultural, intellectual games, and puzzles.

Day 1

A day of inspiration and active participation
All the mornings of the camp the campers started with a line: anthem, prayer, exercise. Immediately after the opening, the work started in the detachments. Water, Fire, Stars, and The Sun detachments met with Manvel Gabrielyan, who raised the enthusiasm and active participation of the campers. The day ended with a happy song and dance.

Day 2

Talent and Beauty Day
The children visited “KIDO” development center, participated in master classes: sand therapy, pottery, painting. In the second part of the day, the campers performed little humorous performances with their ingenuity, appropriate stage costumes, and make-up.

Day 3

Mysterious “Fort Boyard”
The atmosphere in the camp was competitive. The great desire and enthusiasm to win in Sportland led the detachments to an uncompromising struggle. Everything got hotter when the launch of “Fort Boyard” was announced, during which the detachments found hidden hints, overcame various trials, searching every corner of the center to find the victorious “key”. The efforts of the campers were not in vain, all the detachments overcame the difficult trials and discovered the keys.

Day 4

Badge and Flag stealing day
The day started, the tense detachments were secretly chasing each other to have the enemy’s flag, to learn the slogans. Shortly afterward, the capture of the flag of one of the detachments was announced with a shout. Then the teams’ struggle was over intellectual and musical games. Within the framework of the “Equal Education for All” program, the children organized an equal to an equal course on the basics of inclusive education. The second half of the day was creative, the teams had different accessories, materials, and a new task – the BUSY BOARD kids were making “bzbzik”.

Day 5

Camp closure
Guess the melody the winning teams competed in the super game, the winning team added its points. It was the turn of water games. The detachments competed, gathered water supply, transported water with balloons, and sprinkled water on each other. In the second part of the day, the detachment leaders competed, which was followed by a “holy” game of spraying each other with colored paints. The day ended with the blessing of the priest. At the end of the camp, four detachment leaders were voted the best by the children. As a prize, the Center invites the winning team to play Bowling and all the squad leaders to the “Ponchik Monchik” cafe.
