Beneficiaries: Direct beneficiaries:

  • women and young girls who are subject to domestic violence,
  • women and young girls having disability,
  • mothers and caregivers of CWD,
  • young girls from poor families who can easily become victims of trafficking,
  • single mothers,
  • divorced women,
  • mothers who have many children and whose husbands are unemployed,
  • refugees and women from very poor families

 

Indirect beneficiaries:

  • children or other dependents (family members) of the direct beneficiaries involved in the project

Goal: To support sustainable, inclusive and equitable economic growth by promoting women’s economic empowerment.

Description: The project goal will be achieved by conducting 12 months skills and entrepreneurship trainings which will equip them with the necessary skills and experience to manage their businesses.

The project will contribute to address the poverty issue through women economic empowerment commencing with a multifaceted training covering skills training and knowledge transfer in the areas of tailoring, entrepreneurship, home management. The project will target 40 women representing 4 women groups.

Project objectives:

  • The capacities (skills and resources) of the 40 beneficiary women (families) for successful implementation of economic activities are strengthened.
  • The self-confidence of 40 beneficiary women is improved.
  • The financial stability of the project is improved.
