Based on universally recognised human rights, internationally accepted norms and national legislation, Armenia provides asylum (protection) to all foreign citizens and stateless persons who have been forced to leave their countries due to persecution. Those persecutions can pose a serious threat to the lives and freedoms of these individuals.
