Within the framework of this project a free of charge and 24-hour number for legal assistance and counseling operates. You can call and get legal assistance with regard to migration related issues. You can also call through WhatsApp and Viber.

Number of Beneficiaries: In 2018, 769 trained pupils and community residents and 356 counseled and referred migrants, 28 legally assisted migrants in Russia.
Target group: (potential) labour migrants.
Location: Russia for legal assistance, Shirak, Lori and Gegharkunik provinces for training sessions and all over Armenia for counseling and referral.
Goal: To promote the rights of migrants of the Republic of Armenia and the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation in accordance with international treaties and conventions.
Objectives:
- Migrants and their family members actively protect their rights in the countries of destination and departure;
- Enhanced cooperation within the civil society, including organizations of migrants, state authorities, local governments and international organizations in solving problems and ensuring the rights of migrants and their family members;
- Reforming the migration laws in order to improve the conditions of migrants’ rights at the local, national and international levels.
Beneficiaries:
The beneficiaries of the project are the Armenian citizens in Russia who have faced some migration related problems and they need legal assistance. A free of charge and 24-hour number of partner Tong Jahoni international orgainsiation operates. The number is +79268347602. The beneficiaries of the project are also (potential) migrants who apply to 51 regional centers of State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the RA. In addition, the beneficiaries of the program are pupils, teachers, college students or community residents living in Shirak, Lori and Gegharkunik provinces who are trained by partner House of Abundance Community Center NGO in Shriak region, Crossing Roads Social NGO in Lori and Gegharkunik Human Rights Protection Center NGO in Gegharkunik.
Cooperation:
In the frames of the program, at the local level the program cooperates with State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Issues of the RA and with House of Abundance Community Center NGO in Shriak region, Crossing Roads Social NGO in Lori and Gegharkunik Human Rights Protection Center NGO in Gegharkunik. At the international level, the program cooperates with Tong Jahoni international organization and in Kyrgyzstan three NGOs.
Activities:
At the local level
- To counsel and refer (potential) migrants through cooperation with 51 regional centers of State Employment Agency;
- To provide pre-departure training through the mobile resource center of State Employment Agency;
- To raise awareness on migration to the Russian Federation among pupils and community residents in Shirak, Lori and Gegharkunik regions through flesh-mobs, forum theaters and training session organized by partner NGOs;
- To raise awareness of general public on migration to the Russian Federation through screening and broadcasting a video and a publication on migration to the Russian Federation.
At the international level
- To provide legal assistance and counseling in the Russian Federation for Armenian and Kyrgyz migrants;
- To advocate simplified registration regulations for Armenian and Kyrgyz citizens in the Russian Federation;
- To have a study visit to Armenia for exchange of experience and a migration forum in Bishkek.
