A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, and the Armenian Community Benevolent NGO to protect the interests of migrants, displaced persons, and the victims of the 44-day Artsakh war.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has provided support to the charitable public activities of “Armenian Caritas” for the implementation of sectoral programs, to provide and to develop the existing system of providing counseling to labor migrants (going abroad or wishing to go abroad). The Ministry also expressed readiness to organize public events for the development of entrepreneurship, as well as to participate in the research and studies initiated by the NGO.
Within the framework of the memorandum, “Armenian Caritas” undertakes to provide materials, seekers, information on labor migration, labor migration, current migration legislation of the Russian Federation, as well as staff of regional centers involved in work with target groups, developed materials, analysis and enterprises. Within the framework of cooperation, they also organize seminars.
