“First Inclusive and Barrier Free Bakery and Coffee Shop in Gyumri”
Project Duration: 20.12.16-19.12.18 (24 months)
Target groups:
- – Emili Aregak Day Care Center for Children with Multiple Disabilities in Gyumri
- – Youth and adults with disabilities
- – Parents of children with disabilities
Location: Shirak Province
Overall objective: To create opportunities for involvement of people with disabilities into the labour market.
Specific objectives:
- – To set up a barrier-free and inclusive bakery and coffee shop in Gyumri
- – To promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in the labour market
Expected results։
- – An inclusive and barrier-free bakery is established in Gyumri
- – An inclusive and barrier-free coffee shop is established in Gyumri
- – A value chain based on a herbal garden is established on the compound of the Emili Aregak Centre
- – PWD have received trainings and are supported to integrate in the labour market
- – PWD participate in therapeutic manual work
- – Public awareness for the inclusion of PWD in the labour market has been raised
