Goal: To promote Social Economy as a key driver of inclusive socio-economic development and community led-solutions in rural areas in Armenia.
Description: ARAMAZD SCALE project represents a strategic and institutionalized phase in the development of social entrepreneurship (SE) in Armenia. Building on previous initiatives, it aims to establish a well-functioning SE ecosystem through inclusive collaboration between government, civil society, and communities focusing on national policy development, capacity building, structured awareness-raising, and the integration of SE solutions into local development plans. By fostering multi-stakeholder engagement and supporting community-led initiatives, SCALE seeks to position SE as a recognized and impactful tool for inclusive, sustainable, and locally driven development across Armenia.
Expected results:
- The concept of social economy is adopted and recognized by national and local key stakeholders-government, CSOs, business, academia and society.
- SE training modules are created and tested
- Job generating SE initiatives are launched
- Community development plans are strengthened and become an effective participatory tool for community engagement
- Local and grassroots organizations implement social economy initiatives through a grant process
