JOB DESCRIPTION: The Project Manager is responsible for the smooth operation of all day-to-day activities carried out by the center
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manages and monitors the administrative operations of the program ensuring compliance with state regulations and AC polices;
• Represents project in front of government and mass media;
• Oversees the supervision of personnel, which includes work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance;
• Elaborates and form projects and/or assists the process;
• Manages contract and/or grant funding; approves and monitors budget expenditures; prepares budget revisions; provides interim status reports;
• Provides technical and/or professional coordination and leadership in the execution of day-to-day program/project activities, as appropriate to program objectives and area of expertise;
• Elaborates annual activity budgets and monitors monthly financial reports;
• Elaborates and monitors systems and procedures for establishing and running of the organizations’ documents
• Oversees and/or coordinates the collection, compilation, and analysis of program activity data; develops, writes, and presents comprehensive statistical and narrative program reports;
• Assists in producing various media such as print and video; may assist in developing teaching materials, handouts, news releases, pamphlets, and brochures;
• Assists in establishing and implementing short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures;
• Collaborates with AC other projects, local and/or state entities and/or community organizations to consolidate resources and enhance the program.
• Conducts also other responsibilities assigned by the head staff not included the job description but relevant to the job field.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Diploma or degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Sciences or related fields;
• Work experience in the field of disability care and related advocacy actions is preferable;
• At least 5 years of work experience in Project Management or other applicable field;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Armenian and English; Knowledge of German is an asset;
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
