On December 26, the Armenian Caritas 2024 Annual Summary Meeting took place, with the presence of the authorized representative of the President of Armenian Caritas, Rev. Father Narek Vrd. Mnoyan, the Director of Armenian Caritas Gagik Tarasyan, Organizational Development Officer Anahit Gevorgyan, Institutional Development Officers, and heads of the Financial and Program Departments.
Before discussing the achievements, shortcomings, and upcoming challenges of the year, Rev. Father Narek Vrd. Mnoyan conveyed the gratitude and paternal blessings of the President of Armenian Caritas, His Beatitude Patriarch Aram I of Cilicia, the 21st Catholicos of the Armenian Catholic Church, to the staff of Armenian Caritas.
“I want to not only talk about the results but also convey the greetings and gratitude of the Lord. Despite His busy schedule, rest assured that you can always feel the support of the Lord. By transmitting the words of the Lord, I assure you that Armenian Caritas is in His heart, and the Church is alongside Caritas. I also want to convey the President’s gratitude to the Caritas staff for always doing more than what is required. The Lord has mentioned more than once that you are apostles: Everything you do is not just numbers, but behind it, the Lord sees the individuals in need, and each one of them who is in need, you, as apostles, reach out to help them. Blessed are you because if you carry out this mission sincerely and genuinely, each of you meets the Lord in that person in need, according to His words. Once again, I convey the blessings and gratitude of the Lord,” said Father Narek Vrd. Mnoyan, also thanking Gagik Tarasyan and Anahit Gevorgyan for their dedication and work.
Emphasizing teamwork, Rev. Father Narek Vrd. Mnoyan, the authorized representative of the President of Armenian Caritas, assured that this way the organization will be able to go a longer way, helping and responding to the issues that need to be addressed.
Gagik Tarasyan, the Director of Armenian Caritas, mentioned that despite certain difficulties, the organization was able to overcome the obstacles, thanks to the work of a professional team. The Director expressed hope that the upcoming year, 2025, which will be a jubilee year, as Armenian Caritas will celebrate its 30th anniversary, will be a year of new achievements.
“With love and compassion, to serve different vulnerable groups, respecting the dignity of each individual.” This is the mission of Armenian Caritas. Its vision is to play a powerful and important role in the Republic of Armenia in the areas of social justice and social protection.

Program Manager Anahit Gevorgyan addressed the 2022-2026 Strategic Program and Organizational Development processes and the current situation. The financial picture of Armenian Caritas for 2024 (income, expenses, challenges) was presented by Financial Manager Zvarduhi Alesanyan. Finally, Program Managers A. Tumasyan, H. Gasparyan, G. Norikyan, Z. Aghanyan, and L. Stepanyan presented the summary of sectoral activities.
