Parish Social Ministries in Northern Armenia Project Duration: 01.04.2022 – 31.03.2023 Beneficiaries: The target groups of the project are parish leaders and volunteers in 12 villages of Shirak region. The final beneficiaries of the project are the 75% of the total population of the 12 villages. Location: Shirak Region-Panik, Lanjik, Arevik, Azatan, Mets Sepasar, Bavra, Ghazanchi, Sizavet and Saragyugh, Arpeni, Hovtun, Dzithankov villages   Goal:The goal of the project is to improve educational and socio-economic conditions in 12 Catholic villages in Northern Armenia by encouraging Catholic Social Teaching (CST) inspired behavior change in parish leaders in order to increase their capacity to promote Christian inspired volunteerism and to mobilize volunteers in their community to support self-determination and community development.

Inclusive and equitable quality education for all Project duration: 01.09.2018-31.12.2019 Project location: Armenia: Shirak region: Provincial center Gyumri and 3 rural communities Beneficiaries/target groups: 4 schools in Gyumri, 3 schools in rural communities 14 representatives of school administration, 22 pedagogues 23 parents’ representatives at the schools 4 kindergarten in Gyumri, 3 kindergarten in rural communities 7 kindergarten directors, 35 kindergarten educators 2 territorial pedagogical-psychological evaluation and support centers in Gyumri and Artik Armenian Caritas ʺLittle Prince Centerʺ in Gyumri:

“Civic Activism in Consolidated Community” Project Duration: 01.10.2017 – 30.09.2018 Number of Beneficiaries: 300 inhabits of Sarapat community Location: Shirak Province, Sarapat community Goal: Activation of Sarapat consolidated community villages  through promotion of effective equitable participation in the community development processes Description: Raising public awareness and participation motivation of Sarapat community Identification of active inhabitants in the settlements of Sarapat, formation of active groups. Organization of workshops with a goal of capacity building of the active groups.

“First Inclusive and Barrier Free Bakery and Coffee Shop in Gyumri” Project Duration: 20.12.16-19.12.18 (24 months) Target groups: – Emili Aregak Day Care Center for Children with Multiple Disabilities in Gyumri – Youth and adults with disabilities – Parents of children with disabilities Location: Shirak Province Overall objective: To create opportunities for involvement of people with disabilities into the labour market. Specific objectives: – To set up a barrier-free and inclusive bakery and coffee shop in Gyumri –

Promoting of Overall Inclusion of Children with Disabilities in Armenia Project Duration: 01.02.2017 – 31.01.2019 Location: Shirak province, Armenia Overall objective: The goal of the project is to support schools to establish necessary conditions for the inclusion of children with disabilities. For this purpose, based on the Index Tool, school needs will be revealed and school development plans based on their priorities will be elaborated which will lead the schools to the creation of a barrier free inclusive environment for the education of disabled children.
