Day Care Center For The Elderly Project Duration: 01.07.2018 – 31.01.2021 Number of Beneficiaries: 110 Location: Gyumri City(Shirak Province) and Tashir City(Lori Province) Goal Create positive social change in the society by providing sustainable care services to disadvantaged elderly people in Gyumri and Tashir cities. Description: The beneficiaries of the project are 110 elderly people, the majority of them live alone and need geriatric care and socialization.

Goal: Sustainable opportunities for the social Inclusion of disadvantaged children and their families Child protection in Armenia faces a vast variety of challenges, as the child situation in the country is problematic. Topical issues include high rates of poverty and unemployment, working poor, high level of migration with increasing number of women-headed families, a lack of a holistic childcare system, huge number of children in institutions, lack of alternative care services, a weak civil society, etc. Children as one of the most vulnerable groups of a society suffer under these circumstances. Parish Social Ministries in Northern Armenia

Parish Social Ministries in Northern Armenia Project Duration: 01.06.14-31.05.2017 Beneficiaries: The target group of the project is the parish leaders and volunteers in 5 villages in the Lori region of Armenia. The final beneficiaries are about 75 % of the population (average 2500) of the 5 targeted vilaages. Location: Lori Province- Katnarat, Katnaghbyuir, Petrovka, Saratovka, Blagodarnoye villages Goal: The goal of the project is to improve social conditions in 5 villages in Northern Armenia by encouraging Catholic Social Teaching inspired behavior change in parish leaders in order to increase their capacity to promote Christian inspired volunteerism and to mobilize volunteers in their community to support self-determination and community development.
