Project implementation area: The Republic of Armenia, Lori region
Direct beneficiaries:
- Displaced households from Nagorno-Karabakh, temporarily or permanently living in Lori region,
- Local households in Lori region, a member of which was affected by the conflict (wounded, victim, missing, captive, returned from captivity).
Number of beneficiaries: 120 households/ 750 individuals
Project goal:
Conflict-affected households have successfully regained social and economic self-reliance.
Project description:
Armenian Caritas will provide:
- Social work services to 130 war-affected households through referrals to state and non-state organizations.
- Psychological services to 30 persons through forming self-aid groups.
- Essential marketable skills and means to 70 war-affected households in the form of light livelihood assets business micro-grants for income-generation.
- substantial contribution to increasing the level of public awareness within society regarding the challenges and issues faced by the conflict-affected population.
