Project Duration:   February 1, 2022- October  1, 2022

Direct beneficiaries:  displaced population from Artsakh Republic and from the settlements near borders of Armenia.

  • Households with minors under 14 (preferably female-headed; more than 3 children);
  • Households with pregnant woman;
  • Households with new mothers;
  • Households with members suffering from chronic illnesses;
  • Households with members demonstrating an urgent medical need or urgent need for access to healthcare services;
  • Households with disabled members;
  • Households with no monthly income or any government entitlements (i.e. pensions);
  • IDPs having no close relatives or friends to host in Armenia;
  • Households meeting multiple criteria are selected as beneficiaries to be served first.

Project goalIDP and conflict-affected households from Nagorno-Karabakh are able to live in dignity in areas of displacement

Assistance will be provided through the provision of food commodities, hygienic items, medical supplies and other first priority items.

The IDPs will receive the humanitarian aid according to the size of the household and their actual needs. The aid provided is intended to support a internally displaced person with accommodation, food, hygienic items, household items, clothes and other first priority items. For those households that will have a possibility to live with host families, the cash grant will include support for host families. Monitoring visits will be made to evaluate the efficiency of the program.
